This type of asthma is a Full pattern, so symptoms are acute and severe.

Causes

  • External attack of Cold activates hidden Phlegm, which obstructs the Lung channels and cannot descend, causing cough and breathlessness. It is more affected in autumn, winter and spring.
  • Diet can also cause Cold: excessive cold and raw foods, fats and sugars.


Symptoms

  • Acute, severe crisis.
  • Loud wheezing sounds.
  • Breathlessness, suffocation. Chest oppression.
  • Cough. Brings up white and thin Phlegm, easy to expectorate.
  • Aversion to cold.
  • No sweating.
  • Body aches, feeling of heaviness.
  • Tongue normal or pale, thick coating. Tense and superficial pulse
