The Bladder Divergent Channel separates from the main channel in the popliteal fossa, BL-40, and then rises to the gluteal fold BL-36. It reaches the anus (which is why BL-57 and BL-36, treat the anus, haemorrhoids), penetrates to the interior, goes to the Bladder and joins the Kidneys. It ascends along the spine and communicates with the Heart (many Bladder points treat mental and emotional problems). Then it rises to the nape of the neck and joins at BL-10 with the Kidney Divergent Channel and the main channel.
