Heart and Kidney Yang Deficiency

  1. On one hand, it may be that the lack of kidney fire generates Heart-Yang deficiency.
  2. On the other hand, it may be that chronic Heart-Yang deficiency affects the kidneys (all chronicity eventually affects the kidneys).

Symptoms:

  • Blood stasis: cyanosis can be observed in the lips, nails and tongue
  • Accumulation of fluids, edemas
  • Aversion to cold
  • Chilling of the limbs
  • Palpitations
  • Scanty urination
  • Physical and mental asthenia
  • Somnolence
  • Pale dark or cyanotic tongue with white and moist coating
  • Deep and thin pulse, ,
