- On one hand, it may be that the lack of kidney fire generates Heart-Yang deficiency.
- On the other hand, it may be that chronic Heart-Yang deficiency affects the kidneys (all chronicity eventually affects the kidneys).
Symptoms:
- Blood stasis: cyanosis can be observed in the lips, nails and tongue
- Accumulation of fluids, edemas
- Aversion to cold
- Chilling of the limbs
- Palpitations
- Scanty urination
- Physical and mental asthenia
- Somnolence
- Pale dark or cyanotic tongue with white and moist coating
- Deep and thin pulse, ,
