Location
Points located at 0.5 CUN to the sides of GV, below the spinous processes from D1 to L5. They are 17 pairs of points in total, twelve on the thoracic vertebrae and four more on the lumbar vertebrae.
Nature
Actions
- They have direct action on the spine. They can be used in case of spinal fracture. It is not necessary to needle all of them, usually the points of the affected vertebra plus the upper and lower adjacent vertebrae are used
- Pain radiation problems: herpes zoster, intercostal neuralgia, neuralgias. Only needle the affected side in this case, not bilateral!
- From D1 – D3: problems of the upper limbs
- From L1 – L5: problems of the lower limbs
- They regulate organs and bowels, reinforcing the action of the back-Shu points

Treatment
