Phase 1: the inverted fetus

• It is the one with the most coincidence with classic Chinese points.
• It is used to treat acute pain. It relieves the painful sensation.
• Deepest layer.

Phase 2: the standing man

• Superficial layer.
• It mainly treats the central nervous system, it is used more for chronic, psychosomatic and degenerative problems.

Phase 3: the horizontal man

• Intermediate layer.
• Unusual conditions. Prolonged inflammations.

Phase 4: posterior inverted man

• It is like phase 1 but on the posterior part of the ear.
• It also treats acute pain, muscle spasms.

The correspondences with the three embryological tissues change in each of the phases.
