Relationships of Organic Fluids with the Organs

Relationships of Organic Fluids with the Organs

Spleen and Jin Ye

  • It initiates transformation and the first separation into impure and pure parts.
  • Controls the direction in which they will be sent.
  • It sends the pure part upward.
  • It sends the impure part downward.

Stomach and Jin Ye

  • It is considered the origin of the Organic Fluids, since it is the place that receives food and drinks.
  • In the Stomach they are separated and transformed by the Spleen.
  • The Stomach needs humidity.

Lungs and Jin Ye

  • They disperse in the space between skin and muscle (Cou Li) the pure part that comes from the Spleen.
  • A part of the fluids they send downward to the Kidneys and Bladder.
  • Lung regulates the water passages.

Kidneys and Jin Ye

  • Part of the fluids they receive they vaporize and send upward to Lung.
  • They moisten the Lungs with the vapor they send them.

Specifically the Kidney-Yang has several implications in the transformation process of Jin Ye:

  • It provides warmth to the Spleen to transform Jin Ye.
  • It supports the Small Intestine to correctly separate Jin Ye.
  • It provides Qi to the Bladder, useful for transforming Qi.
  • It helps Triple Burner in its function of transformation and excretion of Jin Ye.

Small Intestine and Jin Ye

  • It receives from the Stomach fluids and divides them.
  • The pure part it sends to the Bladder to generate urine.
  • The impure part it sends to the Large Intestine where part is reabsorbed and the rest is excreted in the stools.
  • Kidney-Yang supports the Small Intestine by providing warmth and Qi to separate Jin Ye.

Bladder and Jin Ye

  • It separates into a pure part and an impure part.
  • Thanks to the Qi transformations it excretes urine.

Triple Burner and Jin Ye

  • It supports the transformation, transportation and excretion of Jin Ye in all stages.
  • It controls, together with Lung, the water passages.

Upper Burner:

  • It helps Spleen to send the fluids upward.
  • It supports the Lungs to disperse the fluids beneath the skin.

Middle Burner

It helps the Stomach to:

  • Digest the fluids and to move them.
  • Send the impure part downward.

Lower Burner

It helps the Kidneys, the Small Intestine and the Bladder to:

  • Transform.
  • Separate.
  • Excrete.
