Rea 1 - rea motora

The working line is located:

  • The upper point is located 0.5 cm behind the midpoint of the antero-posterior line.
  • The lower point is located on the eyebrow-occipital line when it crosses the front edge of the sideburns (basetta).

Joining these two points is the motor line.

  • Another way to locate: line parallel to the one between GV-20 and SI-18 but 0.5 cm behind GV-20.

It is divided into 5 parts:

  • The upper fifth corresponds to the opposite lower limb. It also has action on the trunk.
  • The second and third upper fifths correspond to the opposite upper limb.
  • Fourth and fifth (the lower ones), correspond to the face and the speech area (1/3), treats motor aphasia: understands everything but cannot articulate words). Opposite side. For speech it is stimulated bilaterally.

They treat the motility of the corresponding areas: paralysis, plegia, loss of strength.
