Indications

• Heat retained in Yang Ming pattern.
• Heat in the Qi level that consumes fluids.

• Dry mouth
• Thirst
• Polyphagia
• Hyperemia
• Intense sweating
• Pulse: Full, strong and rapid
• Tongue: red, dry and with yellow coating

• Pneumonia
• Hyperthyroidism

Contraindications

• In deficiency patterns
• Deficiency fever
