BL-47 is used for emotional problems related to the Liver, such as depression, frustration and resentment, maintained for a long period of time. It reinforces the capacity of the Hun for planning, for sense of direction in life, for vital dreams and projects. It is a "gate", so this point regulates the sway of Hun and the Mind (that is, relationships with other people and with the world in general).
