• They are points of very rapid action: resuscitation, acute cases, acute contractures, early stages of disease.
• They open the pure orifices (brain).
• They treat subcostal fullness (stagnation).
• In Yang channels their transformation phase is Metal, in Yin channels their transformation phase is Wood: they control the Qi Ji (unblock).
