Spleen not controlling Blood. The Spleen has insufficient Qi to maintain Blood within the blood vessels. Bleedings, bruises and haemorrhages occur easily. It is difficult to stop bleeding.

Symptoms

  • Haemorrhages and subcutaneous bruises with ease
  • Capillary fragility
  • Loss of appetite
  • Muscle emaciation
  • Excessive rumination, worry, obsessions
  • Loss of weight
  • Abdominal distension, especially postprandial, with somnolence
  • Tiredness, lassitude
  • Weakness of the limbs
  • Pale and dull face
  • Loose stools
  • Blood in urine or stools
  • Excessive uterine haemorrhages
  • Pale tongue
  • Weak pulse
