1.- Yunmen 雲 門,

• Yun 雲: Warm moist vapors (云) that, when they reach the upper and colder regions, condense (雲) into clouds.
• Men 門: Gate

Comments

• For the Qi and body fluids to be diffused from the Upper Burner they must first be condensed by the Lungs in the form of clouds, after which they can descend as rain to reach the Kidneys.

• Subsequently the kidney fire (Ming Men) will evaporate the pure aspect of the fluids to moisten and nourish the lungs; this is what we call the cycle of the Organic Liquids.

• The "Cloud Gate" represents the Lung's action of condensing the fluids.
