Capa Tai Yin

Capa Tai Yin

The Tai Yin Layer is one of the openings, the Yin opening. It is formed by the Lung Channel and Spleen Channel. These channels circulate along the anterior aspect of the body.

Tai Yin opens the Yin gate for the reserve of energy.

Pathogenic energy normally arrives at Yang Ming first. Yang gate syndromes are of the full type. When pathogenic energy penetrates the Yin gate, we tend more toward deficiency: fullness manifests in the Fu, deficiency manifests in the Zang. Since there is not enough energy to defend, pathogenic energy attacks the interior.

The Yin gate is a gate of preservation. Yang Qi must enter the interior to warm the internal organs. If there is a problem of opening in Tai Yin and Yang Qi cannot enter, then we will have a problem of chilling.

The well in summer is colder than the air and during winter it is warmer than the air. If the water is not heated during summer, the following winter there will be neither rain nor anything. Heat must enter inside.
