- Front-Mu point of Spleen
- Gathering point of the Zang organs
- Crossing point of Spleen, Liver and Gall Bladder
Actions
Treats all internal disorders and diseases of organs and entrails.
- Heart, Liver, Kidney, Lung (chest oppression, shortness of breath)
- Spleen: borborigmus, difficulty digesting, poor appetite
- Kidney: Lower back pain, cold spine, urinary problems
- Liver blockage attacks SP/ST: food retention, constipation, abdominal bloating, poor drainage, dry stools, alternating constipation and diarrhea. See Liver attacking Spleen and Liver attacking Stomach
Comments
- This point can help generate energy: it relaxes the diaphragm, allowing for easier breathing, enabling the lungs to take in more air and produce more Gathering Qi.
- Because it tonifies the Spleen and promotes Lung function, it can be considered a Tai Yin point
