Location
1 cun lateral, beside the nipple, in the 4th intercostal space. In women needle at the border of the breast, 3 cun below the axilla, to avoid needling the breast.
Nature
- Communicates with the Liver Channel and the Gall Bladder Channel
- Window of Heaven Point
Functions
- Fibroid in breast, breast cancer (due to Liver stagnation)
- Liver-Blood stasis or Master of Heart stasis
- Chest oppression, chest pain radiating to the shoulder
- Lymphadenopathy: protruding nodes, lumps, axillary swelling, inflammation
Comments
The blockage in the Master of Heart Channel is related to the Liver Channel. If the Liver becomes blocked, it can affect the Gall Bladder or the Master of Heart. If it impairs the Master of Heart, there can be breast cancer.
