Also called sinking of central Qi. The Spleen, by Qi deficiency, fails in its function of ascending and supporting structures.
Symptoms
- Poor concentration and memory
- Physical and mental fatigue
- Loss of appetite
- Pale yellowish face
- Abdominal distension, especially postprandial, with sensation of abdominal heaviness
- Fatigue, lassitude, weakness of four limbs
- Loose stools
- Depression
- Prolapse of the stomach, uterus, anus and bladder
- Frequent and urgent urination (Qi does not ascend, pure Yang descends: turbid urine)
- Chronic diarrhea
- Chronic uterine bleeding
- Varicose veins
- Pale tongue, with coating
- Weak pulse
