Treats all problems of Wind interior and exterior:
- Wind-Cold, common cold, headache, rhinitis, tension in the back
- Wind-Heat: allergy, urticaria, dermatitis, tonsillitis. Fever without sweating.
- Wind Bi: torticollis, cervical pain, muscle tension, rigidity, pain of the occiput
- Interior Wind of Liver: hemiplegia, facial paralysis, tremors, rising blood pressure, hypertension, tics, migraine, vertigo, dizziness, epilepsy, nosebleed
- Disorders of the head and eyes: conjunctivitis, rhinitis, otitis, myopia. Improves hearing and vision.
Treatment
- Needling: toward the ala of the nose or toward the corner of mouth or nose. 0.5 – 0.8 CUN perpendicular. With a 1 CUN needle it is safer, first it traverses the skin and then is introduced in the direction toward the nose.
- Moxibustion
