- Excess Liver-Fire: nervousness, bitter taste in mouth, congested eyes, hypochondrial pain. If Fire affects the Heart: mouth ulcers, nosebleed, ulcers on tip of tongue, toothache, insomnia. + PC-8
- Gas and general malaise. Liberates Liver-Fire LR-3 + GB-34 + 2 LR
- Treats irritability, irritable temperament
- Drains the Liver: calms pain in case of Qi/Blood stagnation, sighing, greenish color in the face
- Heat in Blood. Should not be needled if there is Spleen-Qi Deficiency
- Excess drainage of Liver: diarrhea, frequent urination
- Early and abundant menstruation, metrorrhagia
- Wind, radiating pain from lower back to leg, sciatica
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Local point for foot pain
