- Regulates the functions of Large Intestine and Stomach
- Regulates elimination: diarrhea, constipation, dysentery (in tropics), pain around the umbilicus, nervousness, vomiting, gastroenteritis
- Also regulates urination, helps with urination: fluid retention, swelling.
- Regulates menstruation: lower abdomen very swollen and pain before menstruation usually due to Qi stagnation or Blood stasis. This point releases Yang Ming, moves large amounts of Qi and Blood.
- Activates Qi Ji, promotes free circulation
