Location
Below the external malleolus. Draw a vertical line from the tip of the malleolus and find a depression, between the talus and the calcaneus.
In elderly people with significant arthrosis, if it is very tight and the depression is hard to locate, the BL-62 bis can be needled: in a straight vertical line from the tip of the external malleolus, where the skin changes colour.

Functions
- Opens Yang Qiao Mai: Controls Yin–Yang of both sides of the body, as well as the opening and closing of the eyes
