Man, 43 years old

Reason for consultation

Right shoulder pain with moderate movement limitation.

Clinical history

  • Recurrent nasal congestion
  • Lumbar disc herniation L4 - L5
  • Palpitations
  • Moderate insomnia, wakes up early in the morning.
  • Fatigue

Pulse

  • Right cun: skin level, extremely thin.
  • Right guan: convex and resistant.
  • Right chi: convex, ascending and resistant.
  • Left cun: No pulse
  • Left guan: Wiry and thin, tense
  • Left chi: thin and without resistance. Compressed at the end.

Diagnosis

  • Heart-Qi and Blood stasis
  • Heat in the digestive system.

  • Resolve heat.
  • Tonify Heart-Qi and Blood

After three sessions he sleeps through the night without waking to use the bathroom, the palpitations have ceased and the shoulder no longer hurts and has better mobility.
